Tommy Hilfiger recently announced the national launch of its exclusive customer loyalty programme. The launch event was held at its flagship store at DLF Promenade in Vasant Kunj in the presence of MTV's Rannvijay and actor Chitrangda Singh.
Shailesh Chaturvedi, CEO and director of Tommy Hilfiger Apparels India, said that 80 per cent of the store business comes from 20 per cent core consumers. The loyalty programme is aimed at granting privileges to this set.
The programme is referred to as THe CLUB (Tommy Hilfiger Exclusive CLUB). For this, Tommy Hilfiger India has tied up with Accentiv, the French expert on loyal marketing.
There are two levels of membership in THe CLUB – Gold members and Silver members with separate eligibility criteria.
Theset of privileges includes fashion-related events linked to stylists/designers and interactions for members, music events at the stores, movie invites for relevant movies on opening weekends, value benefits to Gold members, previews of collections as well as extended shopping hours, home-delivery of altered garments, exclusive changing rooms for members and gifts on special occasions including birthdays and anniversaries.
The launch event also had a private preview of the brand's latest Spring 2010 collection through a live installation.
