A new series on food will premiere on Discovery Travel & Living on May 6, 8.30 p.m., with a repeat telecast the following Thursday at 10 p.m. In the seven-part series titled A Matter Of Taste with Vir Sanghvi
, the columnist and TV person will travel across the country to discover what makes the Indian mouth water.Each episode will delve deep into the different aspects of Indian eating and drinking habits from how Indian chefs modified Chinese recipes to create what Sanghvi call Sino-Ludhianvi cuisine, to how tandoori chicken changed the eating habits of Britain.Sanghvi also travels to his old school to discover how Rajputana royalty revived their traditional cuisine.
