What's to love: Considering most students seize the slightest opportunity to get out of the college campus, an off-campus hangout is always a favourite. The proximity of the mall to the college makes it easy for students who want to go out but who also need to get back for the post noon classes.

While most students carry their lunch to college, there's always a group of youngsters who prefer to eat at one of the fast food joints in the mall. Even those who don't lunch at the mall walk all the way to it and back, one of the students informs.

The advantage of hanging out at a mall is that there are so many things to do. Whenever the students are done with the classes early or an interesting movie is released, they head to the PVR multiplex. Shopping of course happens once in a while.

Those who want to catch up on a quiet read usually head to the Landmark. Also when their sale is on, students flock into this store.

What's not to: With the heavy traffic that Hosur Road sees everyday, crossing the road to get to the mall is the only hassle!

Alternative: The tiny shops that line the crossroad next to their college.
