Music by kids

To write a song, it’s usually necessary to be able to read musical notation and play some kind of instrument. But it can be a lot easier and more fun, as evidenced by the Sketch-a-Song Kids app, available for both Android and iOS. Children can use the app to make songs just by drawing on a touch-screen, making use of up to 40 instruments. Preset chord sequences make sure no notes go astray. The app is free and contains no commercials. It is also reliant on symbols, making it easy for even young children who can’t read to play with it with.
