‘L eave Your Mark — The Visual Libraries Project' has been launched in Chennai, by Portsmouth Central Library, The University of Portsmouth UK, in collaboration with the British Council. The project aims to develop critical and creative skills among children, young adults and people with physical and learning disabilities.

Students from several schools and colleges made sketchbooks on themes such as Go Green, The Narrow Streets of Chennai, Music, The Moment I Cherish, I Love Books and My Dreams. The participating institutions then swapped these themes and books for an exhibition. A display of all these sketch books will be held from January 8 to 14, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the British Council.

As part of the project British Council has arranged for an event titled ‘In-Genius' on January 8, at 6 p.m. it will include workshops how to ignite your creativity and motivation. Music, skits and games will be presented as a part of the event. For details, call 42050600.
