Food The freshly baked bread rolls are enough to tempt you

Hearty Meal An elaborate brunch at Ofen
Hearty Meal An elaborate brunch at Ofen

I f you thought good food and a casual ambience of a restaurant are poles apart, you could have been mistaken.

Bid goodbye to the idea of eating cold bread from a bread basket with your soup. Drop in for a weekend brunch to enjoy freshly baked hot breads —straight from the oven at Ofen.

Now before you dismiss them as just breads, here is a little sample. The choice lies in choosing between whole wheat, multi grains and the white breads.

The rolls are small, hot and crunchy. The best way to enjoy them is by letting some butter moistens the bread rolls.

Changing menu

The weekend brunch menu changes every Saturday and Sunday The choice of salads is between, Trio-Pepper & Chick Pea, Mexican Corn & Pepper Salad, Tossed Salad German Potatoes Salad Khimchi Salad, Russian Salad, Sprouted Bean Salad, Hawaiian Chicken Salad, Raisin Coleslaw, Greek Salad, Waldorf Salad, Warm Carrot Salad with Cumin Dressing.

The spread comes with two choice of veg and non-veg starters, of which the best would be to try the crispy veg hunan sauce, roasted rosemary potatoes, corn and pepper fritters, cilantro chicken, chicken teriyaki, lebanese grilled chicken, chicken maryland, creole grill fish, chicken satay, oregano roast chicken. The main course has a choice of butter rice or noodles.

What makes the whole experience a pleasant one is the informal ambience, the choice of good music and mute TV with a sports channel. Don't miss the mini pastries and the muffins.

Finally seal the meal with an aromatic cup of coffee and some more pastries.
