Tussle over dogs

The normally calm and composed Imran Khan lost his cool with a dog trainer on the sets of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein . Says Imran, “We were shooting a scene that required Kareena to feed stray dogs. While I was walking to the location, I noticed the dog trainer whacking a dog with a stick. I was angry, went up to him and pushed him, indicating he stop at once. One of his assistants came from behind and hit me. Before I could turn around, the security personnel intervened.” Imran has adopted two stray dogs and five stray cats.

The Chambal connection

The parched surfaces and the rustic setting of the Chambal valley have often been explored in Hindi cinema, particularly those made by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The director who has shot his forthcoming Bullett Raja in the valley says he feels a strong connect with the valley, as though he’s spent his previous birth in this region. The film built around a fictional mafia based in UP releases later this month.
