Sound of the sea
The much-waited album of Mani Ratnam’s Kadal (sea) will be out on December 17. As a prelude, the makers released the second official song ‘Elay keechan’ through online forums on Monday. A.R. Rahman’s peppy beats and rustic lyrics (by Madan Karky) have made the song a hit on social network forums, even amidst non-Tamil listeners.
Ever since Rahman unveiled the first song, ‘Nenjukulle’ (by Shaktisree Gopalan) on MTV Unplugged a few weeks ago, Kadal’s music has been looked forward to.
