Not without Prabhudeva

Choreographer-director Remo D’Souza, busy promoting his second film ABCD: AnyBody Can Dance , says he would not have made the movie without Prabhudeva. “I couldn’t think of anyone else other than Prabhudeva for this film. I wouldn’t have made this film without him. He is a fabulous dancer and a wonderful human being,” says Remo.

Remo added that Prabhudeva’s presence also helped him during the making of the 3D dance-based movie, which features professional dancers like Salman Yousuff Khan, Dharmesh, Prince, Mayuresh and Vrushali. The film has 30 choreographers and has been made in 3D and not converted from 2D to 3D like many movies.

Srikant upbeat about ‘Devaraya’

Actor Srikant says he feels honoured to have worked in the historical drama Devaraya, which gave him the opportunity to play emperor Krishnadevaraya. “It is a special film. Having watched several yesteryear actors play this role, I know I have to deliver my best to even live up to the expectations of the audience,” says Srikant. He added that he researched extensively for the role. “I went through several historical texts and old films to understand the character,” he added.
