It’s a feast of handlooms from across the country at Sarthak Silk Handloom Welfare Society’s ongoing ‘Cotton and Silk’ at VJ.T. Hall . Almost every popular Indian weave, in a variety of hues and styles, in cotton and/or silk, can be found at the fete. Among the products on display are Chanderi and Maheswari saris and dress material from Madhya Pradesh, mulberry, crepe and raw silks, Kashmiri silks, and so on. Also check out handicrafts such as Polki jewellery, Hyderabadi pearls, lac jewellery, and more. There is a discount of 20 per cent on handlooms and 10 per cent on handicrafts. The sale is on till February 23 .
