Parents see late marriage as a wise option as against a hasty decision when it comes to their child's marriage. Indian marriages that earlier used to depict our heritage and culture are now becoming short-term commitments where adjustment and togetherness are lacking and individualistic views take priority. Consequent to this, a lot of marriages end in divorce within a few months, setting a bad precedence for many. There's nothing wrong in late marriage - it all depends on how the couple manages after that, for, after all, it's our life!
