Rose petals and water can work magic on your skin
There may be plenty of ways to keep your face glowing, but nothing beats doing it the natural way. For instance, the rose petal facial steam. This is such a blessing for dry skin, as rosewater acts as a skin tonic, and the steam opens pores and releases the toxins. Here's how to go about it.
Take one cup of fresh rose petals in a bowl and pour a gallon of almost-boiling water over it. Cover the head and the bowl together, with a towel. Bend over the bowl (12 inches away), and absorb the steam. Continue for 15 minutes. Pat dry the face.
Now, strain the hot liquid, and keep the petals and water separately. Pour water into a saucepan and boil for about 30 minutes, or until there is nearly one cup of liquid left. Now, pour it over the petals. After 20 minutes, strain the liquid. Discard the petals, and pour the liquid into a glass bottle. After cleansing, use cotton balls to gently rub rosewater over the skin.
