Rhythms of Life

Kerala Lalithakala Akademi will present Rhythms of Life, an exhibition of sculptures and paintings by Usha Ramachandran, from September 30 to October 6 at the Durbar Hall Art Centre. A self-taught artist Usha draws inspiration from newspapers, books, cinema, photographs and people. She uses watercolours, acrylics, oil, pastels and charcoal for her paintings. Most of her sculptures are done in bronze and some of them in wood. She has also worked with fibreglass and terracotta.

The show will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
