An overweight trainee has to set for himself a short-term goal of losing about one kg every two weeks. Thinking only about losing 10 kg in a couple of months can make the trainee desperate and stressed. Stress may affect the fat-loss process, besides hitting the immune system. Experts say that short-term goals are the way to a trainee's ultimate goal of attaining a healthy bodyweight or great physique.
