Novotel Hyderabad Airport at Shamshabad, is hosting a painting exhibition by Anuradha Thakur, titled Ethnic Serendipity. The paintings describe the life and culture of tribal communities from different parts of India.

Heritage week celebrations

Alliance Française of Hyderabad is conducting an exhibition of paintings by R. Murugan, an engineer and artist whose works have been on heritage monuments has been recognised by INTACH, Architecture and Tourism departments of AP and Karnataka. He specialises in line sketches (pen), and paintings in various mediums. In addition he has also created murals and metal etchings.

Art of Living

Cultural festival

Kalasagaram is hosting its 46th annual festival of music, dance and drama. As part of this festival, a concert will be held in memory of violinist, late Lalgudi G. Jayaraman. Lalgudi G.J.R. Krishnan and Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi will be on violin, accompanied by Mannargudi Easwaran on mridangam and K.V. Gopalakrishnan on kanjeera.
