BOOK An e-book that hopes to engage with the common man
The World Book Fair at Pragati Maidan saw the launch of the digital edition of ‘It’s Your Life’ written by Vinita Dawra Nangia by Rockstand. Launched in an age of new media, the author believes that social media is a platform which lets you connect to your audience efficiently. Truly said, the media which has grown in the last decade has been of great value to users and advertisers. The information superhighway has taken the sheen off print and the digital world is a one-stop hub for information.
Those who follow her column in an English daily, will find the book familiar. The book promises to be self-help, an aid to those looking for answers and a medium to connect with yourself. It talks about relationships and dilemmas in a contemporary urban world.
“Life is all about you, even when we fall in love we want the person to love us back. This book is something that you, as a person could relate to,” she says, stressing that we human beings are very self sufficient. A writer by profession, how does she feel being on the other side of the aisle?
“I feel fantastic,” she chuckles. “I have always valued critics and grown through it. I feel blessed to be reviewed by my esteemed colleagues,” she says. Asked how she would want to be remembered, she says, “As a good and honest human being who sought the path of wisdom through deep intellect”.
