Jeevika: The South Asian Livelihood Documentary Festival is on

Yearning to watch some alternative cinema? Here is an opportunity. Centre for Civil Society has organised Jeevika: South Asia Livelihood Documentary Festival. The festival opened this Friday with a play on livelihood by Manzil group.

Saturday and Sunday would see screenings of short-listed and award wining documentaries in the Casuarina Hall of New Delhi’s India Habitat Centre from 9 am to 6 pm.

There are 128 entries from students and professional filmmakers from various countries, including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

The festival will come to a close on Monday with a performance by a rock band.
