Rajkumar Hirani is back after the super-successful Munnabhai series with a film said to be loosely based on Chetan Bhagat's best-selling Five Point Someone. And, he's got an ensemble cast — Aamir Khan sans the “Ghajini” muscles, a portly Madhavan and Sharman Joshi — to lend credence to the story set in a college. The film's about two friends' search for the third, the man who taught them to think out-of-the-box.
The film, directed by Babu Sivan, travels at breakneck speed, and proves better than the hero's last couple of outings at the box office. Playing heroine is Andhra beauty Anoushka, who last made a splash in the dubbed “Arundhati”.
Think 10-foot-tall blue Na'vi, floating mountains and luminous trees that people the planet Pandora. Now, think Earth, in dire need of a mineral called unobtainium found only on Pandora, and a group of people willing to go any extent to get it. All this took shape in director James Cameron's mind 15 years ago. Technology finally caught up with his imagination, and this 3D spectacle that is raking in the moolah across the world is proof that the Cameron magic continues to sell!
