Italia, DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, launches its new menu with hand-picked recipes from the different regions of Italy. The ingredients include Italian tomatoes, sea food, artichokes, prime cuts of meats and more. Some of the dishes on offer are chicken saltimbocca romana, spicy prawn soup with zucchini and garlic bread, potato gnocchi with roasted garlic, tomato, goat cheese and basil pesto, open ravioli with chicken and leeks, shrimps, crab meat and mussel with hint of saffron, Norwegian salmon with olive tapenade and sautéed vegetables, chicken Milanese with salad of cherry tomatoes and others. Open noon-midnight, a meal for two costs Rs.2000 excluding taxes.

The range is said to be free of synthetics and created with the goodness of rich milk, fresh fruits and nuts. Created with homespun recipes and bringing a twist using the natural taste of fruits, they come in a variety of flavours.

Get ready for an oriental journey of food at the new Fat Ninja – a pan Asian café in Hauz Khas Village which serves Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Japanese, Malaysian, Burmese and Vietnamese cuisines.
Once can choose from fresh spring rolls tofu katsu, crispy spinach, tod man pla, pork spare ribs, and birds prawns to start the proceedings. Also on offer are soups such as tom kha, mie basko, khao suey, chicken dumpling clear soup and others. The main course includes shredded chicken Cantonese, crispy pork, chap ghee, slice chicken with water chestnut, green curry and red curry to name a few.
Spread over several levels, there is room for outdoor and indoor seating areas and the indoor roof offers a view of Hauz Khas Village’s bustling main street.
Ignis Bar and Kitchen presents an array of mocktails with a fruity kick. The apple and lemongrass mocktail blends the fresh flavours of apples with lemongrass while berry berry tickles your taste buds with strawberries and cranberries. The mango surprise adds a dash of yoghurt to the mango brew while the peach and lime mocktail brings fresh peaches, apricots and Kafir Lime leaves together in a healthy beverage. Priced at Rs.199, the mocktails are available from noon-midnight till May 31.
