Prodigy Hamsamma has the wherewithal to be a musician of class
At the tender age of nine, Darapu Yashaswi or fondly called as Hamsamma exhibits a talent beyond her age and enthrals the audience by playing on the key board. She had already won accolades and prizes.
At the State Level Mega Talent Hunt, organised by the Visakharatna Kalaparishad here recently Hamsamma had bagged first prize. She had played the popular song ‘Hrudaya mekkadunnadi—nee chutte tirugu tunnadi' from Gajani.
She had also participated in the mega event to mark 60 years of National Anthem in which 60 young kids played on their key boards at a meeting in Tenneti Park a few days back.
A student of Timpany School, and daughter of D. Lakshmana Rao and Radha, Hamsamma has been taking classes on classical music from a reputed teacher and promises to be an artiste with a bright future. Watching her play on the key board, one is convinced that Hamsamma has the wherewithal to be a musician of class.R.JAGADEESWARA RAO
