Zee TV has launched a dance competition to give mothers a platform to exhibit their skills. On “Dance India Dance Super Mom”, they will perform Bollywood dance, hip-hop and salsa.

The channel has kicked off auditions for dancers across the country in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Raipur, Kolkata, Indore, Patna, Lucknow, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Guwahati, Jammu, Ranchi, Ahmedabad and Bangalore.

Speaking about the show, Raghav Juyal, who was seen in DID Season 3, said: “In this show, we will select mothers who can dance and hone their skills.” Among the aspirants are Jyotsna Ghai, who works in Delhi.

“I’ve loved to dance since my childhood but was never given the freedom to choose it as a profession,” she says. Jyotsna hopes to meet her favourite dancers, Madhuri Dixit and Akshay Kumar, some day, through this show.
