Here's a chance to win a beauty contest
Pond's Femina Miss India contest, a first step into international pageants and a career in the fashion field, has commenced its search for women who will represent India at international pageants in 2006. The beauty contest, which has seen the likes of Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai, Lara Dutta, Diya Mirza, Yukta Mookhey, Priyanka Chopra and Tanushree Dutta walking away with the crown and making a career for themselves in movies and the glam industry, invites entries from unmarried women in the age group of 18 to 26 years as on January 31, 2006. Entries close on January 5. The event will be held in Mumbai in March.The top three winners will be crowned Pond's Femina Universe, Pond's Femina Miss World and Pond's Femina Miss Earth, respectively, and will be the official Indian representative at international pageants. While Pond's remains the title sponsor, Pantaloon is the associate sponsor for beauty contest. The Pond's Femina Miss India contest turns 43 this year.
