May Day special movies

To commemorate International Labour Day on Thursday, Zee Tamil will telecast two movies.

Ponmaalai Pozhudhu at 1 p.m.: The story talks of teenage love and how parents have to tackle their adolescent children. It’s about 16-year-old Arjun and Divya, his classmate and friend. When the girl’s volatile father, in a fit of anger, thrashes the lad for sharing a kulfi with his daughter, the youngsters fall in love for real as an act of defiance.

Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu (555) at 4 p.m.: A romantic thriller, it stars Bharath, Mirthika and Santhanam. Arvind (Bharath) wakes up from an accident with the memory of his dead girlfriend Liyana (Mrithika). But his family and friends swear that such a girl never existed!

May Day specials on Vijay TV

 On the occasion of May Day, Vijay TV has planned interesting shows and super hit films.  On Thursday at 7.30 a.m., ‘ Jigarthanda first look’ brings you a sneak peek of the upcoming film directed by Karthik Subbaraj.  The film has Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in the lead along with Soodhu Kavvum ’s Bobby Simha and Karuna. 

 At 8 a.m. ‘ Kochadaiiyaan special’ brings interesting anecdotes from the Superstar Rajinikanth’s film.  At 8.30 a.m. ‘Neeya Nana’ special brings you an interesting topic to be discussed. 

 At 10 a.m. Happy Birthday Thala brings viewers a celebration of actor Ajith’s birthday by his fans, friends, colleagues and co-stars.  An exciting journey of actor Ajith’s life in tinsel town will also be featured.  At 4.30 p.m. ‘ Mundasupatti special’ features Vishnu and Nandita along with the cast and crew of the film.   Premiere

Thegidi – 11 a.m.

An interesting murder mystery directed by P. Ramesh and produced by C.V. Kumar.  The film features Ashok Selvan and Janani Iyer in the lead roles, while Nivas Prasanna composes the music.   

Kalyana Samayal Saadham – 2 p.m. This romantic-comedy, written and directed by R.S. Prasanna, has Prasanna and Lekha Washington in the lead roles.
