Learn more about heart diseases at a lecture series

The Hayagriva Study Circle is conducting a lecture series at the C.A. Study Centre, next to Stella Maris College. Dr. K. P. Mishra, cardiologist at the Apollo Hospital, will give lectures (August 13, 14 and 16, 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.) on the structure and function of the heart, circulation and the heart, diseases of the heart, blood pressure and coronary diseases, risk factors for heart diseases and how to prevent them. Dr. Paul Ramesh, cardio-thoracic surgeon, will give an illustrated lecture (August 18, 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.) on heart and lung surgeries. Dr. Zaheer A. Saeed, neurologist, will talk on (August 19, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) stroke and how to prevent it, and Dr. Bagyam, radiologist, on the importance of early diagnosis (August 20, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
