Veteran actor Manorama, who has acted in over 1,500 films, is undergoing treatment at the St. Isabel's hospital. Confirming the news, Dr. Rajarajan, who is also Manorama's grandson, said, “There is no cause for concern. She has been admitted for treatment for UTI and low back pain, and is expected to be discharged this weekend.”

The actor, last seen in the Tamil film “Ponnar Sankar,” has been having health problems of late. Last year, she had to undergo a surgery after she sustained a head injury.
