The Polaris promises to be a beauty and a beast

Gone are the days when sports cars and some rugged bikes were the only option for those with a sense of adventure in driving. As more and more people take to biking expeditions and all terrain driving across the country, there are new options to satisfy them. Just recently, Mount Shivalik launched Polaris, an all terrain vehicle for the sporty and adventurous, brought in from the U.S.

Dashing cricketer Virender Sehwag along with Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra and ace shooter Rajyavardhan Singh Rathod showed up at the launch in New Delhi.

A former India cricketer quipped about the 12 model ATV, “I have a farm house, I would love to have one of them. My son is quite young as soon as he grows up I will buy it, so then both of us can enjoy.”

Monish Bali, Executive Director, Mount Shivalik says, “I saw ATV’s at a place and loved the vehicle. I thought others will love it too. So, we launched it here in India.” He further adds, “It is an upmarket product, people will love to have the vehicle in their villas, farm houses and estates.”

ATVs from Polaris are very well designed with stunning looks. The engine capacity of these vehicles is in the range of 50cc to 800cc with both manual and automatic transmission.

As far as consumption is concerned, a tank full of petrol, which ranges from 12 to 16 litres can keep the vehicle moving for nearly four hours. The price of these vehicles starts Rs.1.65 lakhs and goes up to Rs.9.25 lakhs An elite product, ATVs are already owned by popular film stars like Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. The company does not have any celebrity as a brand ambassador though. The exclusive Polaris showroom is in Okhla Industrial Area. The company is going to open one showroom each in Jaipur and Chandigarh shortly.
