WORKSHOP Attend a one-day course on the fundamentals of digital film-making

Mirage-Films institute of Film-making and Photography offers a one-day workshop on the fundamentals of digital film-making. The workshop will teach participants how to plan, write, direct, shoot and edit a good short film using a consumer camera. You will learn both the creative and technical aspects of film-making. The workshop will cover four vital components of a short film — Screen Writing, Directing, Cinematography and Editing.

The course will be conducted by Sam Kumar, who has fifteen years of experience in film-making and photography. He has also written, directed and edited over fifty short films including narrative, documentary, corporate films and music videos, and directed four feature length documentary films.

The workshop will be held on February 25, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at No.19, VGP Murphy Square, St. Thomas Mount. The fee is Rs. 2,000 and includes course materials and lunch. The last date for registering is February 23.
