Event Yellow Train holds a children's festival

Yellow Train organises a children’s festival on November 25 at Cosmopolitan Club, Race Course. The festival includes a book exhibition, reading corner, handwork, wood work, and art studios and a potter’s wheel where kids can explore pottery, carpentry, art and craft. They can also participate in adventure activities and learn science through enquiry. Other events in the festival include:

Story-telling by writer Junuka Deshpande

Workshop for parents and teachers on storytelling by writer Shobhana Kumar

Time: 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Entry-fee: Rs.250

Discovering Bharathiyar by Dr.Menaka Balaji

Time: 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Entry fee: Rs.100

Age group: 6 to 12

Poetry writing workshop by writer Shobhana Kumar

Time: 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Entry Fee: Rs.100

Age group: 7 to 12

A workshop on Bharathiyar for parents by Dr. Menaka Balaji

Time: 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Fee: Rs.250
