Severine, a French visual artist is interested in kolam from an artistic and ethnological point of view - she tries to understand South Indian culture and women’s condition through the prism of this ancient art.

On March 6, at 7 p.m., Auditorium AFM will screen “MÀ- A meeting with Tamil Women”, a documentary film by Annie Bonniel, followed by discussion with the director. This documentary film is in first person narrative and the voice-over is a counterpoint to the image and the sound.

On March 7, at 5.30 p.m., Sathyam Cinemas will host “Toi and Moi” (You and Me), by Julie Lopes-Curval, with Marion Cotillard and Julie Depardieu in the cast.
