Sanjay Suri is a popular actor but one who chooses his films with care. Now the actor has given his nod for the home production of the National Film Development Corporation of India’s (NFDC) — “As The River Flows”. The movie tells the story of a journalist named Abhijit Shandilya (Sanjay) who is caught in a multi-layered world of intriguing happenings in the largest inhabited river island in the world, Majuli in Assam. The movie, a socio-political thriller, talks of social conflicts and individual commitments in an age where being self centred is the norm. It is being directed by National Award winning filmmaker Bidyut Kotoky.
