Iced tea — a simple drink yet infinitely refreshing. A perfect summer drink, this one is done in a few minutes. Made with a handful of ingredients, it is perfect for a warm evening.
1 cup fresh cold water
2 tea bags
3 tsp sugar syrup
1- 6 ice cubes
1 medium-sized lemon (cut into thin slices)
2 mint leaves
Take fresh cold water in a non reactive pot and bring it to a boil. Add tea bags and mint leaves as soon it starts boiling. Cover with the lid and keep for 5 to 8 minutes. Allow it to cool. Add sugar syrup. Fill serving glasses with ice and pour the tea in to it. Garnish with a thin lemon slice by placing it on the rim of the glass.
