Jackfruit bulb [Chola], steamed and minced- half kg

Chopped onion-100 gm

Chopped green chill-5

Chopped ginger-2 tbsp

Turmeric powder-1 tsp

Coriander powder-1 tbsp

Chilly powder-1 tsp

Coriander leaves-1 sprig

Salt to taste

Chana dal-100 gm

Garam masala1- half tsp

Oil as required

Method

Add all of the ingredients above except coriander leaves and garam masala. Cook until dry and then mash well. Add coriander leaves, garam masala and mix well. Shape into small round patties and deep fry in hot oil. Serve hot with mint chutney
