Pieces of medium size raw

jackfruit: 10

Onions, sliced: 2

Green chillies, slit: 2-3

Ginger-garlic paste: 2 tsp

Black pepper powder:

Turmeric powder: 1 tsp

Curry leaves

Cloves: 5-6

Cardamom: 5-6

Cashew nuts: 8-10

Biryani masala

Jeera: tsp

Rice: 1kg

Curd: 1cup

Ghee and salt to taste


Deep fry all the ten pieces of raw jack fruit, put aside and mix garlic ginger paste, pepper powder, turmeric powder, green chilli paste and marinate it thoroughly and keep aside. Cook rice and keep aside. Take an open vessel dry it on low flame and pour ghee and add curry leaves, sliced onions, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, cashew nuts, cloves and cardamom. Add cooked rice and put off the flame. Now add marinated raw jack fruit and mix thoroughly. Now garnish with coriander and serve it with curd chutney
