Tender Coconut Green Tea

Ingredient:

By far the simplest summer tea refresher, this recipe pairs the tenderness of coconut with the goodness of green tea.

You will need:

Green tea bags: 3

Tender coconut water: 200 ml

Tender coconut pulp: 15g

Method: Bring water to a boil, Remove from heat and allow the tea bags to steep 5-6 minutes. Remove the tea bags and cool. Then mix in the tender coconut water. Refrigerate to chill.

For the garnish: You can garnish with coconut pulp and then serve.

Ginger Mint Lemon Green Tea Granita

The spice of ginger and the freshness of mint come together in this simple but hit classic.

You will need:

Ingredients: Ginger mint lemon green tea bags: 3

Ginger julienne: 5g

Mint leaves, chopped: 20g

Lime juice: 2 tbsp

Method:

Bring water to a boil. Add the ginger julienne and mint leaves. Remove from heat and allow the tea bags to steep 5-6 minutes.

Remove the tea bags and cool. Strain the mixture and allow it to chill. Add lime juice and freeze the mixture.

Crush the frozen mixture and serve.

Cumin Coriander Aloevera Green Tea Popsicles

A sure winner with the kids, this easy to make popsicle recipe combines rich Indian spices with some fresh coriander.

You will need:

Ingredients: Aloevera green tea bags: 3

Coriander leaves, chopped: 20 g

Cumin powder, roasted: 1 tsp

Whole cumin, roasted and crushed: 1 pinch

Method: Bring water to a boil. Add the coriander leaves, whole roasted cumin and the cumin powder.

Remove from heat and allow the tea bags to steep 5-6 minutes. Remove the tea bags and cool. Then freeze the mixture in required moulds to make popsicles.

Iced Canadian Apple Cinnamon Honey Green Tea

Ingredients:

Cinnamon honey green tea bags: 3

Apple juice: 20 ml

Cinnamon powder: 1 pinch

Maple syrup: 1 tbsp

Method: Add apple juice, cinnamon powder and maple syrup. Add the green tea bags.

Chill the mixture and serve with crushed ice/ice cubes.
