Unlike most European countries where there are separate ramps for the infirm to ascend establishments, here in India, we do not even consider the infirm when a building is constructed. The infirm cannot even walk the pathways freely.

The presence of potholes and unevenly laid-out tiles does not make the situation any better.

Old women with knee problems also find it hard to move around in buildings which lack elevators.
