The Grand four-seater Rolls Royce Wraith comes to India

The majestic Rolls Royce Wraith motorcar was on display at the Leela Palace Hotel in Chennai recently as part of its multi-city tour. Dubbed India’s auto hub, Chennai was the third city to get a glimpse of the luxurious four-seater hatchback. Herfried Hasenoehrl, general manager for Emerging Markets - Asia, said that the company is certainly interested in the India market and that Wraith is for those who are young at heart. “The car is for those looking at comfort, luxury and unique experience.”

Despite the fact that the price of Wraith starts at a whopping of Rs. 4.6 crore, Vasanthi Bhupati, director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Hyderabad was confident that there is a market for it in Chennai: “We see Wraith’s power and style being particularly appealing to our customers here.”

Registering the fact that Rolls Royce is known for keeping its British heritage intact, Hasenoehrl said that it is not just selling the car that matters but also after-sales care.” The economies of the world may not be doing particularly well, but that has never stopped the potential customers from owning a Rolls Royce, he added. “We’ve seen that our customers have built their empires over several years, even decades. When they decide to buy a Rolls Royce, it is due to their unwavering desire to reward themselves for having been so successful in whatever they have been doing.”
