The feature presents a dramatic account of the last hours of Abraham Lincoln’s life, the events that led up to the night of April 14, 1865. Discovery HD World will telecast this docu-drama on February 2.
Lincoln’s Last Night has been shot on high-definition at locations across the United States.
A cast of more than 80 historical actors create an authentic image of Lincoln’s America. The Presidential office in the White House was staged at Centre Hill Mansion in Petersburg, Virginia.
The Ford’s Theatre box reconstruction was one of many locations around Richmond, Virginia used extensively — with additional scenes filmed at Strasburg, Pennsylvania Railroad, and at the original and recently restored summer residence of the Lincoln Family in rural D.C.
