Iam quite lucky that my parents are very sincere and have given good care to me. They are disciplined about the routine. Children always learn from their parents and so have I. I have inherited a lot of good values from my parents and it helps me keep fit and fine.

I do a lot of activities to keep myself in shape.

It is quite important to follow the routine strictly, if you want to be healthy. I also undertake a lot of sports activities, especially swimming. It is the best exercise, and gives you a well-toned body.

Though mental fitness for many is still not considered as important as physical fitness, both are interrelated. One's body has to be in harmony with one's mind and only then it can be seen as holistic growth.

Your mind gets different kinds of thoughts, and negative feelings can have adverse effects on your body.

I try and not have negative emotions or harbour ill-feelings about anybody.

I also indulge in many social activities to satisfy myself. I think these are the secrets to a sound mind which eventually leads to a healthy body.

I prefer home cooked food because that way I decide about the quality of my food and nutrition.

I do not use preservatives, care about cleanliness. I also love cooking.

(As told to Kundan Pandey)

Negative feelings can have adverse effects on your body. I try and not have negative emotions or harbour ill-feelings about anybody
