To cash in on the World Cup that's on in the Caribbean, producer UTV and director Milind Luthria have come out with a film "Hat Trick," using the tournament as a backdrop. The film is based on the fictionalised fortunes of the Indian cricket team. It also takes a look at what happens to four sets of people whose lives have been affected by the tournament. They are Nana Patekar and Danny Denzongpa, Kunal Kapoor and Rimi Sen, Paresh Rawal and finally the Indian cricket team. Says director Luthria: "`Hat Trick' is also about underdogs battling life's challenges to emerge winners, and eventually recognising the winner that exists in each one of us." The film has foot-tapping music by the hot and happening Pritam.
