S ri Krishna Sweets celebrates Pongal with a variety of traditional sweets such as karuppatty payasam, adhimadhuram, paruthi paal halwa, karuppatti appam, kambu halwa, thinai mavoo athirasam, ragi puttu and panakam. There is a gift offer of hot dry fruit ghee pongal in a stainless steel container and sugarcane. These will be available today and tomorrow at their T. Nagar, Adyar, Anna Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Besant Nagar, Velachery and Perambur outlets.

The Rassa Restaurant (Sri Krishna Sweets Group) celebrates Pongal with the “Sanga Kaala Unavu Thiruvizha” from January 14 to 23, between 11.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. The menu consists of the following: welcome drink: maya paal/soma panam/panagam; starters: pudalangai varuval, senai sukka, kezhvaragu thandu vadai with thengai thogayal, paruppu thogayal and puli thogayal; rice: sukku malli satham and kaai soru podithal; staples: kambu dosai, ittarika, paruppu, panikaaram, mandaga, sashkuli and nool idiappam. A fresh selection of curries, accompaniments and sweets have also been introduced. On at Sri Krishna Sweets, The Rassa Restaurant at Venkatnarayana Road, Purasawalkam and Mylapore.
