It’s best to avoid going out in the afternoons. Drinking plenty of water is the best way to beat heat. Intake of leafy vegetables, greens, cucumbers, tender coconuts and water melons which contain significant amounts of water will help to internal cooling and hydrating the skin and muscles. It’s easier to beat the heat by following a strict diet at home. Taking showers twice a day, wearing loose, full sleeved clothes, usage of exhaust fan in the kitchen, keeping the home well ventilated at nights etc are the simple ways to beat the hot summer. Many families also spend their summer vacation in hill stations to relieve from the heat.
