Fusion music

For music lovers who enjoy a blend of western and Indian music

Alliance Francaise will conduct an evening of fusion music on September 7. The concert will feature French guitarist Philippe Loli and Indian musician Thakur Chakrapani Singh who will play the Indian classical guitar and the tabla.

Loli will begin with compositions of masters such as J.S. Bach. Singh will join him for the second part of the concert, and the duo will render a blend of jazz Latino fusion, classical and hispanic.

The concert will be held at GKD Auditorium, G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Hospital, Pappanaickenpalayam, at 7 p.m. Entry is free, and seating is on first-come-first-served basis.
