FOODTry different dishes from the region

Malgudi in Hotel Savera, presents the Kongunadu Food Festival. Recipes have been collected from 50 cities around the western regions of Tamil Nadu.

The dishes include Palli Palayam Payaru Phirattal (veg); Kolli Malai Milagu Kuzhambu (veg); Kangeyam Kari-Meen Kuzhambu (non-veg); Pollachi Poricha Yeraa (non-veg); Namakkal Nattukuzhi Uppu Varuval (non-veg); and Pathaneer Halwa (sweet).

The cuisine from Kongunadu involves cooking with less oil and spice and more pulses.
