Skit competition

YWCA Mano Shanthi Family Counselling Centre conducts a skit competition for colleges to celebrate its Silver Jubilee.
The topic chosen for the 10-minute skit is ‘Family Issues’. Each college is allowed to send a maximum of three teams and each team can have a maximum of 10 participants.
Cash prizes will be awarded to teams that place first, second and third. The last date to register for the skit is January 31.
They also organises a Seminar on February 9 with speakers from medical, psychological and psychiatric backgrounds.
The seminar will be conducted from 9 30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the registration fee for participants is Rs. 50.

Design and win

Amaya organises a jewellery making contest as part of Coimbatore Vizha. The contest is open for school students from standards five to 12 and college students. Fun with Science

Gurukulam International School, Tirupur organises a science fair themed ‘Science for safe life’ for children between four and 14 years. There will be workshops for parents and children from 10 a.m. -11 a.m.and 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. The fair covers the science of tattooing, gift wrapping, box making and baking.
