A Nadan Food Festival is on at SP Grand Days till March 31

The Nadan Food Festival at SP Grand Days beckons you with a wide array of ethnic delicacies. In addition to the elaborate buffet spread at the restaurant, an exclusive menu offering a ‘Nadan Virunnu' is available. Pick your favourite traditional eats from this exclusive menu. While vegetarians can start off with the Muringakai soup, the non-vegetarians can try the Attin Kaal soup.

Varieties of seafood dishes

There is a variety of dishes to choose from for lovers of seafood. Kanava Thoran, Crab Ularthiyathu, Fried Prawns, Karimeen Pollichathu and Crab Moilee are some of the seafood dishes that are bound to tickle your taste buds. The Kada Roast Kerala Style (Rs. 280) is a must try.

Those who are health conscious however, could ask for the Vaazha Thand Thoran that is said to contain medicinal properties. You can pair nadan curries with Idiyappam, Kerala porotta or Thattu dosas. The kappa and fish curry (Rs. 240) is for those who want a simple yet wholesome meal. To ensure the dishes stay true to taste, the chefs prepare and serve the dishes in earthen pots. The dessert menu includes sweets treats like Palada pradhaman (Rs. 95), Elayappam (Rs. 70) and Semiya payasam with boli (Rs. 95).
