EVENT Starting today, there is a series of concerts at the Gayana Samaja
M.A. Narasimhachar Music Foundation, a cultural organisation, is hosting its 11th Annual Music Festival from November 22 to November 26 at Gayana Samaja, K.R. Road, 6 p.m.
On the occasion, they will award violin maestro H. K. Venkatram with the title Gaana Vaaridhi, on November 25, 2012.
On November 22, T.M. Krishna will give a vocal concert. On November 23, Suchita will give a musical discourse in Tamil on Purandaradasa charitram. On November 24, Malladi Brothers will perform a vocal duet. On November 25, there will be a veena, venu and violin ensemble. The concluding concert of the festival is by Manasi Prasad, a thematic concert on Ragamalikas. Entry to all the concerts is free. For more information contact M.A. Srikishan, 9844042502.
