H e's a first-time-lucky director in Sandalwood — lucky to have actors for good friends, lucky to have found a producer for his first attempt at filmmaking and nice enough to share his story. When Sriganesh's directorial debut “Kaanchaana” releases today, it will also perhaps mark a first — he's releasing an e-book on his baby steps in the Kannada film industry.
The 33-year-old is an ad-film maker who's giving vent to the “bhoota” in his mind — that indefatigable desire to make a film that plagues many a young mind today. The guy who was compelled to tell a story in 30 seconds suddenly discovered the joy of telling a story over two hours.
