Of outfits and artefacts for Raksha Bandhan at Vimonisha Gallery

The Vimonisha Private Collection announces its Raksha Bandhan show at Vimonisha Gallery (12, Khader Nawaz Khan Road) from today to August 25.

Apart from designer rakhis, on display will be clothes from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Jaipur and Chennai.

Jullaaha - Threads of Tradition offers saris, Indo-Western kurtis, stoles and dupattas in Kalamkari. A range of hand-painted stoles in myriad hues is the highlight of this collection.

Shuchita-Namita from Mumbai present salwar suits and churidars with intricate, colourful embroidery. Mansi and Sapna bring a collection of Tibetan jewellery, along with a range of salwar suits and saris.

Maitri, Dogri and Mahima from Jaipur present fabric, kurtis, skirts and saris with the famous Rajasthani hand block prints.

From Bangalore will come Raveena with her collection of kurtis. In trendy cuts and colours, you can team them with jeans and trousers.

Poshak from Delhi offers a wide range of salwar suit material in voile and matka silk. Manju’s Collection and Ambience bring kurtis, fabric, salwar suits and also artefacts.
