Corporates get socially aware

This is one time when corporates showcased their creative talents and revelled in the festive spirit. Virtusa’s Hyderabad Advanced Technology Center (ATC) conducted a rangoli competition, which provided a platform to showcase creativity, enthusiasm and zest. More than 45 employees participated. The team of Pragathi Thakur, Vana Venkateswara Rao Sripati and Pooja P. Achantani won the contest.

Socially responsible

Keane India, a global IT services, consulting and outsourcing firm, involved its employees in community service initiatives. The Keane Social Services Team — Aastha and Karishma — invited NGOs to set up stalls at the Keane facilities in Cyber Pearl and Cyber Tower. While the NGO Sadhana Welfare Trust put up diyas and other handicrafts (made by mentally challenged children) for sale, Alpha Foundation and Enella Welfare Center, too, lined up Deepavali decorations and gifting items.

More than 700 employees donated blood at an in-campus blood donation camp by the Rajlakshmi Trust.
