The film was fantastic, though a wee bit exaggerated. It felt it reflected how things work in the fashion industry. The power games, the one-upmanship, portrayal of gay designers… I’ve seen similar people while walking the ramp for the Fashion Weeks in Mumbai. Madhur has used people from the industry — makeup artists, choreographers and models like Diandra, Alicia Raut and Jesse Randhawa making it more authentic. In fact, even the relationship between gay designers was subtly handled. The only drawback was Priyanka Chopra looked ‘healthy’ for a model. She made up with her performance though.
